Once a quiet fishing village, this French Riviera gem has become the ultimate playground for celebrities, jet-setters, and friends looking to indulge in a chic summer escape. If you\u2019re dreaming of glamorous beach clubs, boutique shopping, and a taste of the high life, St. Tropez delivers in every way.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s nothing quite like a summer getaway with your best girlfriends, and St. Tropez offers the perfect blend of relaxation, indulgence, and unforgettable memories. From sunbathing at world-famous beach clubs to sipping ros\u00e9 overlooking the Mediterranean, this French Riviera destination feels like it was designed for a luxurious girls\u2019 trip. <\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s my guide to to planning an unforgettable summer girls getaway in St Tropez, with my suggestions for the best beach clubs, excellent dinner spots, where to stay, what to wear, and fun things to do in this beautiful seaside hot spot.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Summertime St Tropez Experience: What To Expect<\/h2>\n

I’ve been lucky to visit St Tropez on five different trips during the summer months, and I have always loved my time in this very<\/em> fun, luxury hot spot.<\/p>\n

The ideal time to book lunch at one of the famed St Tropez beach clubs (see my beach club suggestions below), is 3:30pm. By 4:30pm everyone is up dancing, singing and having a great time. If you want to relax on lounge chairs by the sea after lunch, I suggest reserving beach chairs at the same beach club at 5pm. The beach clubs in St Tropez usually stay open until about 6:30pm in June, July and August.<\/p>\n

There are two dinner seatings in the summer in St Tropez. The first seating is 8pm. If you want to have a quiet dinner without being surrounded by music and partying, I suggest booking the early seating. The second seating, which is the most popular seating during summer in St Tropez, is 10pm. By 11pm everyone will be up dancing, singing and waving their napkins around, so be prepared for a dinner party!<\/p>\n

There are also small, quiet cafes you can go to in old town that don’t have a loud party vibe – if you prefer a late quiet dinner. Most of the small restaurants, located on the little side streets in Old Town St Tropez, don’t require reservations even in the summer. But if you want to book a fun party place for dinner (see my suggestions below), you will need to book in advance as all the best places get booked up.<\/p>\n

St Tropez is notoriously expensive, so be prepared to dish out some serious cash if you want to go to the best beach clubs and dinner spots. But I promise, the experience will be worth it!<\/p>\n

On average, for two people (if you are drinking alcohol, or in our case too many bottles of ros\u00e9), expect to pay between 300 – 700 euros for lunch at a beach club, plus beach beds by the sea there after (a must!). For the popular dinner spots, dinner will run you anywhere from 250 – 600 euros for two people. In the summertime, hotels are anywhere from 400 euros to 2,500 euros per night. <\/p>\n

During my recent visit in August, my girlfriend and I opted to rent a small flat in old town via Airbnb to save money, but if you want the full luxury St Tropez summer experience, I’m sharing a list of great hotel options below.<\/p>\n

What To Wear In The Summer In St. Tropez<\/h2>\n

St. Tropez is all about laid-back chic style. The French know how to dress to impress, and summer in St Tropez is the<\/em> place to show off those glamorous summer outfits that might be collecting dust in your closet.<\/p>\n

But while St Tropez is glamorous, this is not the trip to pack your Louboutin stiletto heels. Like most of the best European town, St Tropez is a walking city. The nightlife here is situated around the harbor and old town St Tropez, which is made of tiny, winding cobblestone streets. If you are set on wearing heels at night, pack comfortable chunky heels, but nice sandals, paired with a cute dress, is more than fine. <\/p>\n

For beach clubs, attire generally consists of a bathing suit with a chic cover up. If you’re a bit modest (that’s not me lol), you can wear a pretty sundress paired with nice sandals. But this is not the place for your own warn out flip flops, so if you don’t have a nice pair of flats ,I suggest splurging on a pair for your luxurious girls getaway in St Tropez. <\/p>\n

For shopping and exploring, a sundress or shorts and a cute top paired with flats is ideal. It’s very hot in St Tropez in the summer, (average temperature during the day is 81\u00b0F), so dress in light clothing and make sure to pack a cute hat and lots of sunscreen. <\/p>\n

The Best Hotels In St Tropez<\/h2>\n

There are few locations on earth that rival the glitz and glam of Saint Tropez. This once-quiet fishing village has evolved over time, shedding its free-spirited bohemian roots to become a vibrant party haven and, more recently, a playground for the global elite.<\/p>\n

When selecting accommodation options, it’s essential to plan ahead, as many hotels discreetly reserve rooms for their regular guests. Moreover, in the spirit of Saint-Tropez, visitors frequently extend their stays, further reducing the availability of rooms.<\/p>\n

There are four primary options for places to stay in St Tropez: hotels, villas, yachts, and flats (apartments). If a hotel is your accommodation of choice, here are some excellent options, divided into luxury and mid-range.<\/p>\n
