They are situated just a few steps from each other.<\/p>\n Depending on your needs you can book a basic room with a bathroom and bedroom or a full apartment with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. With bustling streets and tall buildings, Downtown feel less like a fairytale and more like reality. After spending my first night in Old Town, I remember walking into Downtown and thinking that I was back to present day.<\/p>\n Downtown is corporate with name brand shops rather than small locally owned boutiques. While it doesn’t have the same European flare as Old Town, Downtown Montreal is home to some of the best museums and attractions in the city.<\/p>\n Located between Old Town and Downtown in the eastern part of the city, Griffintown is one of Montr\u00e9al’s best art districts. This charming neighborhood is full of renovated warehouses and art studios making for an artsy and creative feel.<\/p>\n Not only are there amazing galleries in Griffintown, but you will also find unique restaurants, outdoor spaces, and shops that fully embody the neighborhood’s innovative feel.<\/p>\n The Mile End neighborhood is the smallest neighborhood in Montr\u00e9al. While it may be small, it is packed with color, culture, and art. This hipster neighborhood is home to some of the best indie shops, bagel joints, Greek and Italian eateries, nightlife, and coffee shops.<\/p>\n This spunky neighborhood is located in the northern part of Montr\u00e9al (near Mont Royal). If you are looking to explore the local side of Montr\u00e9al then The Mile End Neighborhood may be for you.<\/p>\n Nestled between Old Town, Downtown, and Plateau Mont-Royal, Quartier is easily one of the best areas to stay in Montreal. With easy access to all the best neighborhoods in the city, Quartier des Spectacles is known for its museums, events, outdoor spaces, influence from many different cultures, art scene, and music halls.<\/p>\n Quartier des Spectacles is perfect for families, couples, and budget travelers because of its central location and affordability.<\/p>\n Montr\u00e9al is such an underrated city! With its French culture, stunning architecture, views from atop Mont Royal, amazing cafes, and delectable maple syrup, Montr\u00e9al is a must visit city in North America. These are my top 10 favorite things to do in Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n Summer and fall are the best times to visit Montr\u00e9al (June – November). It comes as no surprise that Canadian winters are freezing. I would just avoid the winter and spring altogether because you wouldn’t get to do and see nearly as much in Montr\u00e9al as you could in the fall and summer. There is not much spring in Canada, and it really doesn’t start to get warm until late May.<\/p>\n I visited Montr\u00e9al at the beginning of November and had a lovely time. The fall foliage was in full swing, and it wasn’t too cold out yet!<\/p>\n Montr\u00e9al is such a stunning and surprising little city.
