I’ve now stayed at two avid hotels, the first being avid hotel Nashville airport and the second, avid hotel Madison \u2013 Huntsville West<\/a>, and it’s time to let my little travel secret out to the world!<\/p>\n avid hotels are part of IHG Hotels and Resorts and are quickly expanding to convenient locations all over the US. Most avid hotels are located right near major airports, so they are perfect for an early morning flight or if you get into town late. Plus, avid hotel reservations are super flexible, and you can always easily extend your stay if you need to!<\/p>\n Especially as a woman, I am aware of when I arrive in a new city late at night. I don’t want to have to worry about finding a hotel in a good area or wondering if it will be like the pictures online when I arrive.<\/p>\n Learning about avid hotels has been great, because I know if there is an avid hotel nearby when I arrive in a new city late at night, I can be comfortable booking it and staying there by myself!<\/p>\n Plus, I know that avid hotels pride themselves on offering travelers a hotel stay that meets their expectations, and that does the basics exceptionally well.<\/p>\n Each avid hotel is designed with the same convenient layout, including the rooms themselves.<\/p>\n The rooms have everything you need for a restful stay, including wonderfully comfortable mattresses and sheets. They even give you two pillow options, two firm and two soft, which is a luxury normally only found in very expensive hotels!<\/p>\n There are true blackout shades that let you sleep in late and get adjusted to a new time zone, and the rooms are designed to minimize noise.<\/p>\n The rooms have all the other amenities you would expect to find in a business hotel, including an iron, an ironing board, hairdryer, a fridge and even modern TVs with wireless streaming!<\/p>\n avid hotels have made a commitment to the environment by reducing their plastic waste. They encourage the use of refillable water bottles with plenty of water stations downstairs, so you can always stay hydrated without worrying about going through a bunch of small plastic bottles!<\/p>\n This commitment to the environment expands into the bathroom as well, where they provide great smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in larger pump bottles, a great shift from the tiny disposable plastic bottles used at most other hotels!<\/p>\n Staying in shape while traveling can be a challenge, but avid hotels have you covered there as well. Each hotel has a well-equipped gym, which was spotlessly cleaned and had plenty of machines and free weights for guests to use.<\/p>\n For the summer months, there is also a pool outside, which is another amenity normally only found in much more expensive hotels!<\/p>\n The hotels have business travelers in mind in case you need to mix in some work with your play. There are free to use computer stations downstairs with a printer, as well as fast WiFi all throughout the hotel, so you will never be far from that next email (or Instagram shot!).<\/p>\n The breakfast was another clear standout! Breakfast is always included in the room price, which can save you a good deal of money each day.<\/p>\n There is a great spread of food to choose from each day, from hot sandwiches (the sausage muffin is my fav!), to fruit, Chobani yogurts, bagels, and lots more. You know you’ll be able to start your day off right!<\/p>\n Plus, there’s free coffee, tea, and water 24 hours a day, so you can always pop down and serve yourself your favorite beverage.<\/p>\n In a time where so many hotels try to nickel and dime you for every small thing, avid hotels provide all of these features as part of the normal room rate, making it a superb value!<\/p>\n Finally, I need to give a special mention to the customer service at avid hotels. Both times I’ve stayed at avid hotels, first at avid hotel Nashville airport and second at avid hotel Madison \u2013 Huntsville West, I was really impressed with the service.<\/p>\n Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping was exceptionally friendly, and there was staff constantly cleaning and keeping everything looking brand new.<\/p>\n I even had a great chat with the manager at the avid hotel Madison \u2013 Huntsville West<\/a>, who recommended a wonderful local lunch spot (Main Street Cafe<\/a>) along with an absolutely beautiful hike in Green Mountain<\/a> that I never would have found on my own!<\/p>\n As you can tell, I’m a big fan of avid hotels. I love how clean and modern they are, with all kinds of great amenities normally only found in much more expensive hotels.
