I spent a whole week running around those fields, barefoot, eating cheese and drinking\u2014way too much\u2014wine. While also taking pictures and writing poems, surrounded by nothing but silence, nature and the scent of lavender.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/SaraMelotti-Valensole13.jpg\" alt=\"18 Photos To Inspire You To Visit Valensole, France\" width=\"954\" height=\"1431\"><\/p>\n<h2>Accommodations In Valensole<\/h2>\n<p>I rented a room through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.co.uk\/c\/vrivers1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Airbnb<\/a> in a beautiful 100-year-old house owned by an artist in Manosque (a small village about 20 minutes away from the fields). You can alternatively search for&nbsp;the best prices on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/searchresults.en.html?city=-1474456&amp;aid=1435586&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">hotels in Valensole<\/a>. Some stillness and tranquillity were much needed after the last few months of non-stop work in NYC and experiencing the inevitable burnout that life in the city inflicts upon you.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5579\" src=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/SaraMelotti-Valensole8.jpg\" alt=\"18 Photos To Inspire You To Visit Valensole, France\" width=\"943\" height=\"1073\"><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">A Few Photography Tips<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Shoot around sunset or sunrise, the light is pure magic!<\/li>\n<li>Add a human touch. By putting a person in the picture you add that storytelling element that makes the image much more interesting.<\/li>\n<li>Take self-portraits not selfies! Put your phone away, refrain from the urge to take a low-quality selfie. Instead set up your camera and take a beautiful portrait of yourself (and of whoever is with you).<\/li>\n<li>Play around. Have fun, get creative, try unusual angles, add a product, an element, anything that comes to mind!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5591\" src=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/SaraMelotti-Valensole1.jpg\" alt=\"18 Photos To Inspire You To Visit Valensole, France\" width=\"965\" height=\"1446\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As cheesy as it sounds, Valensole, with its pink and lavender hues, is one of the most magical places I\u2019ve ever seen.&nbsp;The buzzing of the bees, the tweeting of the birds, the wind blowing, the peace, the silence\u2026it was exactly what I needed to recharge my long-ran-out batteries.
