Last year I stayed at the <a href=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/luxury-singapore-st-regis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St. Regis Singapore<\/a> and I knew I wanted to visit The W as well, because both hotels are both part of the luxury Starwood Hotels group.<\/p>\n<p>The St. Regis was wonderful for its sheer luxury and central Singapore location, where The W represents the cooler, funky sibling. Read my review to see why The W Singapore &#8211; Sentosa Cove is the perfect choice for your next escape to Singapore!<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"W HOTEL SENTOSA COVE, SINGAPORE\" width=\"1100\" height=\"619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/videoseries?list=PL7odB1yqslNLYnBWyP6jJtCylAf6c29QN\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>SENTOSA COVE<\/h3>\n<p>The W hotel is located on the fun resort island Sentosa Cove. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sentosacove.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sentosa Cove<\/a> is a beautiful part of Singapore, complete with multimillion-dollar homes, stunning beaches and walking paths to explore the oceanfront and marina.<\/p>\n<p>There is plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants with spectacular views, so it really feels like a tropical vacation in the middle of Singapore.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4330 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-17.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/p>\n<h3>WELCOME TO THE W<\/h3>\n<p>From the moment that you arrive at the hotel, The W\u2019s entire ambiance oozes cool and fun. A white flora representation of iconic \u201cW\u201d logo greets you out front and bright colours flow from the lobby.<\/p>\n<p>The lobby is uniquely styled with cool seating pods and longe area, perfect for chilling out with a good book or one of the hotel\u2019s many cocktail options at the bar which is conveniently located next to the check in area.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s impossible not to feel happy simply walking through the lobby, and the rooms upstairs are no different!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4331 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/p>\n<h3>FAIRYTALE ROOMS<\/h3>\n<p>The fun d\u00e9cor from downstairs continues in each of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsingaporesentosacove.com\/rooms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rooms<\/a> upstairs. The room I stayed in was aptly named the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsingaporesentosacove.com\/en\/rooms\/spectacular\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spectacular Room<\/a>, and it was just that with soft purple lighting (that you can change to pink or orange to suit your mood) that felt like something straight from a movie set!<\/p>\n<p>The large shower and bathtub open directly into the room so you can look out of the floor to ceiling windows as you get ready, but if you want a little more privacy you can always close the shower blind.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4339 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/p>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t hurt that the bed is super comfortable and photogenic as well, with a winding floral pattern illuminated in the headboard. The orchid is the national flower of Singapore, which is why The W includes the purple floral motif in each of it&#8217;s rooms.<\/p>\n<p>The stunning room interior means you can get that perfect Instagram shot without ever leaving your bedroom, which is always a plus!<\/p>\n<p>After you\u2019ve had your fill of in room shots, you can wander downstairs for even more photogenic opportunities, as well as to experience all the other amenities the hotel has to offer.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4332 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-13.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/p>\n<h3>PARTY AT THE POOL<\/h3>\n<p>The W Singapore, Sentosa Cove has every type of facility you would expect from a luxury five star hotel. There is 24 hour gym with all the requisite equipment and great music to inspire your workout. The gym also offers workout classes along with complimentary water, apples, towels.<\/p>\n<p>Once you are done with the gym, you can head straight to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awayspasingapore.com\/rejuvenate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Away Spa<\/a>. The spa uses a rainforest inspired design to send you to ultimate relaxation during your trip.<\/p>\n<p>However, my favourite amenity is always a good pool, and the pool at The W is easily one of the best!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4337 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-15.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsingaporesentosacove.com\/wetpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wet Pool<\/a> is one of the largest pools in all of Singapore. There are plenty of sun loungers, so you can take your pick and relax in sun or shade and won&#8217;t have to compete with any other guests to find a spot.<\/p>\n<p>Music is a key element around the pool with underwater speakers to keep you motivated during your swim and relaxing music played throughout the day. And if a pool party is your thing then make sure to schedule your trip over a weekend to join the Sunday pool party!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-4335 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"823\" height=\"1234\"><\/p>\n<h3>DINING AT THE W SINGAPORE<\/h3>\n<p>All that working out and pool lounging can work up a solid appetite, and The W has some excellent meal options.<\/p>\n<p>Each morning you can enjoy a huge buffet breakfast at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsingaporesentosacove.com\/thekitchentable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Kitchen Table<\/a>. The buffet has all of your favourites with unique W twists, such as chocolate happy face pancakes, cereal served in cool mason style jars, and a variety of pressed juices.<\/p>\n<p>My dinner at The Kitchen Table was equally as impressive with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsingaporesentosacove.com\/food-from-the-heart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Food From the Heart<\/a> buffet, where classic comfort food was served in inventive ways.<\/p>\n<p>You can also dine at the other restaurant Skirt, at the WooBar, or of course in the comfort of your room by ordering room service!<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4334 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/h3>\n<h3>A &#8216;W&#8217;ONDERFUL STAY<\/h3>\n<p>The W Singapore &#8211; Sentosa Cove was a wonderfully unique hotel, with a very special style and younger vibe that I really enjoyed. The location was great, being far enough from the Singapore city center that it felt like a private resort island, but also close enough to pop over for some shopping.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve never experienced a hotel that can put you in a good mood simply by walking through the lobby, but The W Singapore &#8211; Sentosa Cove does just that!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4333 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/beckyvandijk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/w-singapore-sentosa-cove-hotel-review-12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\"><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Thank you for reading!
