{"id":2020,"date":"2016-04-18T16:24:42","date_gmt":"2016-04-18T15:24:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/?p=2020"},"modified":"2025-08-17T11:27:04","modified_gmt":"2025-08-17T18:27:04","slug":"nikki-beach-porto-heli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/nikki-beach-porto-heli\/","title":{"rendered":"DISCOVERING NIKKI BEACH PORTO HELI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nikki Beach Resort &amp; Spa opened in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tripadvisor.co.uk\/Tourism-g910341-Porto_Heli_Argolis_Region_Peloponnese-Vacations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Porto Heli<\/a> in the summer of 2014, bringing a luxury hot spot to a quiet fishing village located just a couple hours outside of Athens. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nikkibeach.com\/destinations\/beach-clubs\/porto-heli\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nikki Beach Porto Heli<\/a> is set on a peaceful sandy bay, and the fact that it is far away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, is what makes it so appealing. But there is still <em>a lot<\/em> to see and do.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2023 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/nikki-beach-porto-heli.jpg\" alt=\"nikki-beach-porto-heli\" width=\"1296\" height=\"917\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/nikki-beach-porto-heli.jpg 1296w, https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/nikki-beach-porto-heli-774x548.jpg 774w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1296px) 100vw, 1296px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We enjoyed delicious mimosa breakfasts, swimming, tanning and cocktails poolside at the beach club; massages at the spa, workouts in the fitness center, and sunset jogs along the bay. But by far the coolest thing we did was paddleboard to a shipwreck! There is an amazing, old sunken ship in front of the hotel, and they have paddle boards available for guests. So we eagerly took advantage of this and paddled out to investigate the wreckage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2024 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/paddlebparding-Nikki-Beach-Porto-Heli-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"paddlebparding-Nikki-Beach-Porto-Heli\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/paddlebparding-Nikki-Beach-Porto-Heli-2-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/wearetravelgirls.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/paddlebparding-Nikki-Beach-Porto-Heli-2-1024x768-774x581.jpg 774w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Nikki Beach Porto Heli has a boat dock and the bay is calm, so they also offer skiing, wake boarding and wake surfing, as well as boat rides to nearby islands. We took a fabulous day trip to Spetses Island. There are no cars on Spetses and it is beautiful. I highly recommend checking it out.
